About us

We are a Home for children from under privileged families

with the mission to provide for the needs of our children:

  • to ensure our children get a good education,
  • to enable our children to become self-sufficient and useful adults.


Our Needs

We welcome volunteers to support the children’s growth journey at the Home, through:

  • cooking meals
  • cutting hair for the children
  • supervising school’s homework
  • teaching Bahasa Malaysia, English and Mathematics
  • chaperoning children’s self study time
  • conducting activity based learning on personal and leadership development, critical thinking, coping, self-esteem and confidence, creativity and problem solving, motivation and perseverance, community living
  • driving the children
  • counseling
  • administration and operations (part-time)

St Joseph’s Home children’s pilgrimage to the designated Pilgrim Churches was a spiritual experience where the children heard the word of God, prayed the Rosary, filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit.
